If you have static equipment that is not ‘towable’ such as mobile homes etc, or other equipment such as large earth diggers, Auto Shippers UK can normally still ship these on roll on roll off vessels. On delivery to the port, the unit would be placed on a ‘Mafi’ which is a special low trailer (see picture), and then towed on to the ship. The unit is then transferred at the destination port by the same method and can be craned on to the collection vehicle.
