Libya is a popular destination for shipping vehicles, particularly commercial vehicles such as ‘Truck Heads’ and ‘Heavy Plant’ etc.

We can arrange shipment either by Roll on Roll off from Southampton or Immingham ports, or by container from London or Felixstowe to all the above ports.

Roll on Roll off service from Southampton is weekly – approx transit time 21 days.

Roll on Roll off service from Immingham is twice a month – approx transit time 19 days.

Container service from London or Felixstowe is weekly – approx transit time 22 days.

There are several restrictions you need to be aware of set by the Libyan authorities regarding importation of vehicles. Tripoli for instance will not accept any used cars, but it is OK to ship to Al Khums or Misurata. Also there is an age limit of 7 years (from date of registration) on ALL vehicles.
